Part 2: Get the Mojo Back
Last week we waded into tackling how to regain our work spark; our "mojo" as it is sometimes known.
Work "mojo" is essentially a feeling of satisfaction when things are good, working well and you're getting joy out of work. Naturally, between remote work and the devastation of Covid, for many, it has trickled away.
First, I asked you to prime the pump of your memory and try to remember what the circumstances were when you felt great at work.
1) Who were you with? What were you working on? What was the win or outcome that gave you joy?
This week, let's get more granular....
2) When you felt energized, what was your connection to the work?
How did this connect to your purpose, values, and goals?
When we think more broadly about the work we do and HOW we do it, it can give us important clues as to what works for us and what doesn't.
Next week, we dive into getting the spark back.
